Down-to-earth and highly approachable, Jess Abbott is the founder and director of R & S Property Co, bringing over 13 years of experience in property management across the Hunter Valley and Newcastle regions. Growing up locally has given Jess a strong understanding of the area and the unique needs of the communities she serves.

Throughout her career, Jess has held senior roles within a larger real estate agency, where she led and supported a high-performing property management team. Her leadership experience strengthened her ability to manage complex portfolios, mentor team members, and consistently deliver strong outcomes for both clients and tenants.

Jess’s commitment to excellence has been recognised within the industry. In 2020, she was named a Top 10 Finalist for the REB Property Manager of the Year Award, and in 2023, Jess and her team were proudly awarded Property Management Team of the Year through their franchise group — a testament to their professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional client service.

Holding a Certificate IV in Business Administration and a Real Estate Licence, Jess is passionate about continuous learning and maintaining high standards across compliance, communication, and service delivery. She believes effective property management is built on honesty, clear communication, and genuine care.

After seeing too many property owners frustrated by inconsistent service and poor communication, Jess established R & S Property Co to offer a more personalised, professional, and reliable approach to property management. As a boutique agency, the focus is on quality over quantity — ensuring every property is managed with attention to detail and treated as if it were her own.

When she’s not working, Jess enjoys spending time with her family and friends, staying grounded and connected to the community she proudly serves.
